Many of our recent visitors have decided not to leave their fur babies behind and have brought them on a road trip. A recent global survey found that 60 per cent of pet owners plan their holiday around their dogs. More surprising still, over a quarter of dog owners missed their dog more than their partner while away, and 24 per cent said they would only go on holiday if the dog could come too.
Villa Palmera has hosted young, old and blind dogs, and all were thrilled with the welcome they received. Master Yoda, a pug and a particular favourite of mine, arrives on Friday to stay five nights while his owners continue up the Garden Route to visit friends who are not so fur-baby friendly.
