The Main Villa is the original 1906 stone house, let as a whole for families and groups. Downstairs are three bedrooms - including the Ocean Room with its king bed - sharing a bathroom with a bath and walk-in shower, an open-plan lounge and dining room with a table for the whole party, and a full kitchen. Upstairs, under the eaves, is a loft suite with its own bedroom, lounge, kitchenette and bathroom: ideal for teenagers, or for a couple who want their own floor.
Patio doors open from the living areas onto the pool terrace, the gazebo and the braai. Original yellowwood floors, high ceilings and stone walls keep it cool in summer; the fire pit and the loft's snug keep it warm in winter. The house is solar-powered, so a group's worth of phones, laptops and the coffee machine keep going through any outage.
